At lssaquah Junior High, Dianne Tanner was awarded for her work in organizing the PTA's annual ski swap, the organization's biggest fundraiser. Cande Scriven, who works at Maple Hills, was honored by Maywood Junior High for her involve- ment in the SAGE program, C2B2 Committee and several community efforts including the Cancer Society and Heart Fund. At Maple Hills, she is known as "the lady who pulls teeth." All award winners received a pin and certificate. In addi- tion, the PTSA contributes $25 in the person's name to the Washington PTSA Financial Grant Program. The Issaquah High Vocal Jazz Ensemble entertained during the presentations.
