TAINED GLASS Introduction to photography, basic knowledge of camera, ISSAQUAH AREA SPORTS Youth T-ball teams get out the mitts and bats for spring league action. YOUTH T-BALL Dates: Days: Place: Fee: Coaches: Time: Ages: T-ball is a combination of softball and baseball where a 10" ball is hit off of a tee. The program will be low-keyed with emphasis on fundamentals and having fun! April 21-June 2 Tuesdays & Thursdays Issaquah Valley Elementary $15.00 (includes t-shirt & cap) - Volunteer Coaches needed 4-5:00 p.m. Boys & girls grades I-3. 3rd graders may play in the softball program with permis- sion. All teams play at the same time. Park Dept. divides teams according to grades and skill levels. SLOWPITCH LEAGUES The Issaquah Parks & Recreation Dept. will be sponsoring adult Jack 'n Jill Slowpitch leagues. Play will tentatively begin in early August. Early organization of teams is encouraged. Each starting team will consist of 10 players, 5 men and 5 women. Men and women will alternate at bat, 'with men batting opposite handed. There will be a woman every other position. For additional information contact Eric Hanson, League Direct, 392-7131. Two different levels of play will be offered. ADULT SLOWPITCH Slowpitch leagues for adult men and women, sponsored by the Issaquah Parks & Recreation Department, have been slated to start at the beginning of June. Organizational meetings will be held in early April. All teams should notify the Parks Dept. with names, addresses and telephone numbers of team managers. Come join us for some fun old-fashioned basic hand quilting. Learn the techniques of applique, patchwork, crazy quilt and log cabin.
