The council approved the preliminary plat for the pro- perty one year ago, and they have granted the developers an extension. Construction at Forest Rim is limited to periods of dry weather due to the sensitive nature of the land. The 60.-foot minimum width requirement was removed from the city's subdivision code, and the lot width question left up to the planning commission. The council passed this or- dinance March 5, but the three-two vote was not a legal majority (four yes votes are required).
