Juniper St; behind Foothills Restaurant Thank you for your continuing support Fenders bend as school starts There are many signs that school has started, but one of the most obvious is the traf- fic on Front Street in down- town. Three Issaquah High students were involved in traffic accidents near, or on Front during opening day, September 7. At 9:14 a.m., a pickup truck driven by Jennifer Hall, 16, 3114 273rd St. S.E., lssaquah, rolled backward and struck a sedan being driven in the Safeway park- ing lot, by a Redmond woman. Police say only minor damages were recorded. Then, at 2:19, four minutes after school let out, Monty E. Lash, 17, 19229 S.E. 46th Place, was involved in an accident at Second Avenue and Andrews Street with a car driven by Howard L. Benson, 300 Andrews St. Both cars suffered major damage. The entire front end of Lish's car was torn off and stuck out from the left front of Benson's car. Just moments later, at 2:23, a car driven by Randall S. Prosise, 18, 17031 S.E. 59th, lssaquah, was involved with a vehicle driven by a Fall City man. According to police, Smathers was entering the Safeway parking lot from southbound Front Street, when he was struck by Pro- sise.
